Overall, and excellent experience. The saleswoman (Kimbra), the repair crew(Sergio), and the stainer (Will) all did a fantastic job. The job was completed within a few days of signing the contract and very easy to work around our schedules. They were all professionals, courteous, and eager to ensure we were happy with all of the work. Our property, plants, etc we all protected from any spraying and they payed attention to detail. We would definitely use them again.

From the time Kimbra gave me a price to completion. I was incredibly satisfied. Excellent communication follow up and quality performed by both will and jerry. Before will and jerry started they were very honest about what they could and couldn’t achieve. With that said they exceeded my expectations

Outdoor Spaces in The Colony TX
Outdoor Living Projects
Arbors and Pergolas
Arbors or pergolas can transform an ordinary backyard into a park-like getaway from the stress of life.
Patio Covers are constructed with a solid roof that protects not only from the sun and rain, making the patio area much more useable nearly year round.
Whether it’s a simple plan or a complete preparation and cooking area, get the best help you can imagine for all you want your backyard Outdoor Kitchen to be.
When homeowners consider building an outdoor area, they frequently request information about adding an outdoor fireplace as part of the design.
Backyard Fire Pits
Backyard fire pits are not as expensive to build as an outside fireplace, yet still give you a contained place to have a fire.
Flagstone and Concrete
When you need the strength, durability and affordability of concrete, you don’t have to settle for plain gray surfaces anymore.
The advantages of a composite deck is having a product that will last a long time. While composite materials might cost more than wood, there are definitely positive trade-offs.
Fences & Gates
New Wood Fences
When you choose construction materials wisely and work with an experienced, professional wood fence company, your new wood fence can be an asset that adds to the enjoyment and good looks of your home for many years.
For your wood fence to last, we recommend a fence stain application every three to five years. This will not only help your property look great, but it will preserve your investment.
With automatic gates that open by remote control or an access box, you never have to get out of your car in the hot sun or during a rainstorm to open the gate.
More About Wood Privacy Fences
We specialize in custom wood fences designed to complement the look and feel of your property. We prefer to install metal posts set in concrete for support, but we can also use wooden posts as your budget and desires dictate. If you’re not sure what you want, we suggest a beautiful pre-stained cedar wood fence that will last for years.
Other materials that are requested by homeowners are also available, but Texas Best Fence will always talk honestly and fairly about methods and materials that should be avoided or require special treatment. Although wood is and always has been a natural product, there can be a great difference in the quality of wood for outdoor use. Some wood types are just better suited to natural weathering processes than others.
A wood privacy fence can also increase the value of your property. If you’ve decided to fence your yard, make sure that you know the fence height rules for your area.
If you live in a subdivision or a development, check the deed restrictions before choosing a fence. Most subdivisions have rules and regulations regarding the materials and height of fences. Some don’t allow fences in the front but allow them in the backyard.
Your neighbors are another important consideration. A boundary fence may be a shared responsibility with your neighbor. Check the laws pertaining to property fences before going any further. Once you’re sure about the rules and regulations, it’s important to talk to your neighbors that may be affected by a new fence. A sit-down meeting usually works better than a letter to keep communication open and friendly.
Let’s say everything is a go and you’re ready to decide on the type of fence you want for your property. Choosing the height of your fence might be a hard decision. Here are a few guidelines you can start with.
3 feet – front yard
4 feet – pool fence
6 feet – backyard
8 feet – deer fence
The height of your fence will likely depend on your family’s lifestyle, needs, and budget.
